  • Ask about allergens when you order: US food law names nine major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame), and kitchens can tell you which dishes contain them.
  • Restaurant inspection results are kept by the city or county health department; many publish them online or post the latest grade at the door.
  • For table service a tip of 15–20% is customary; at counter-service places tipping is optional.

Overall the food was very decent. I liked the drunken noodles, chicken saute, roti Canai, and lemon honey tea. My waiter did forget to ring up 2 of the dishes my table ordered, resulting in an additional 20 minute wait. Overall food is good, flavorful, and fresh. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

We had made a reservation for 14 people to celebrate a birthday. Everything went smoothly, the food was great and the service excellent, making the celebration satisfying and memorable. The roti telur, roti murtabak, calamari, tom yum seafood soup, rendang curry, Nasi Lemak, stone pot rice - everything was delicious. Everyone was happy and content. Thank you Penang!

This place has good roti canai and good satay. The fried rice was not good; it needed salt, soy sauce, and chili peppers. Staff are nice, but rarely come to check on you. It's busy in there, so there is a wait for ordering food, getting the food, and for paying the check.

The last time I was here was the latter half of the day after visiting the Jersey shore. That was four years ago. I am craving Malaysian food today, and I am not far away from the location I'm visiting for work. I am thinking to myself, why not splurge a little, given that I am paying well over $4 a gallon for gas? Food-wise, flavorful, small portion, and just hit the spot. Service is pretty attentive. I will definitely come back again. Zagat plagues are lying on the table in front. That itself should mean something about this place.
